December was packed! It was nice to have all the students participate, but the number of songs/performances led to a long assembly that was tough for K especially
January
Ask Nurse Libby to speak about hand washing and dressing appropriately for the weather, playground safety
Add photos of the students washing hands outside the bathroom as a reminder to the students to wash not play
Add QR codes: Annie will talk to Drew about getting the scanner/QR app added to the iPads
Nurse Libby and Kathy Jenkins have lesson plans/activities in motion
MLK: Maryann’s students have a poem they may be able to recite. Does Karen have any Readers Theaters for MLK/Civil Rights?
Second grade helpers will remind us the focus of Civil Rights and respect
Ralene will read mittens focused on showing respect towards others
February:
Hearts project
Annie will ask volunteers to cut out the hearts
Hayley will talk with Kim Newcomb and reprint/tweak the letter home to be distributed
Caryl will check with teachers to find who will be participating/# students
